Our Mission is to save the Pandas
Pandas for Life, a non profit organization, has worked for over two decades to save the giant pandas. Our panda dedicated laboratory and state of the art reproductive research produced the first cross-species panda hybrids, pandadoodles.
AF20-4
Successful cross-breeding
One of the cubs from our second successful cross -breeding of giant pandas in 2020 (F1B, 25% panda, 75% canis lupus familiaris). Her lab name was AF20-4 but we called her Mei Nu (“Beautiful Girl”). She has been rehomed with a Los Angeles affiliated research university as part of our global collaboration program.
